Rate Policy

  1. The below rates are in US Dollars and are rates for Double and Triple occupancy, quoted per room per night basis.
  2. Rates are Exclusive of 10% service charge, 12% government tax (TGST).
  3. Government Green tax US$ 6 per person per night will be charged additionally regardless of age.
  4. For additional person in the room above the age of 12 years an extra charge of US$95 per person applies.
  5. For any bookings that fall within the period of 24th Dec 2021 – 10th Jan 2022 or any part thereof must be for a minimum of 05 nights.
  6. For any bookings that fall within the period of 24th Dec 2022 – 10th Jan 2023 or any part thereof must be for a minimum of 07 nights.
  7. No check-out allowed on 31 December 2021/22 or 1 January 2022/23
  8. Mandatory Festive Season Meal Supplements apply as per outlined earlier in schedule 2 of this contract.
  9. The Rates and the supplements presented in this Agreement are not valid for the Chinese market


CHILD POLICY

  1. Infant / Child (0-1.99 years) stays on a complimentary basis sharing with parents.
  2. For children 2-11.99 years old, an extra charge of US$45 per child per night applies, including daily buffet breakfast and dinner. (2021-2022)
  3. For children 2-11.99 years old, an extra charge of US$45 per child per night applies, including daily buffet breakfast. (2022-2023)


TRANSFER

  1. The Resort will exclusively arrange all transfers to and from the Resort. The Tour Operator shall not arrange transfers at its own discretion or with any outside party as such booking will not be accepted by the Resort.
  2. All transfers will be by air (normal wheeled aircraft) which will be operated between Velana International Airport and Kadhdhoo Airport, followed by a 25 (twenty-five) minute speed boat ride
  3. All transfer rates are inclusive of 12% GST. No Service Charge on Transfers.
  4. Domestic Air Transfers are arranged by contracted third party carrier, Island Aviation Services (IAS)
  5. All passengers and their baggage will depart Velana International Airport for KDO airport within 4 (four) hours from the scheduled arrival time of their international flight and all passengers and their baggage will arrive Velana International Airport from KDO airport no more than 2 (two) hours prior to the commencement of check-in of the respective international carriers
  6. If the price of aviation fuel changes by more than 2.50 US cents per litre from base price, the carrier will impose surcharge of EUR 2.00 per person per return flight for every increase of 2.50 cents per litre from the base rate. The base rate for the purpose of calculation is 80 cents. The fuel price refers to the price published by the Maldivian Airports Company.
  7. Baggage allowance is 20 kg for checked baggage. Excess baggage to be borne by clients and settles at the Island Aviation counter directly at the rate of US$0.78 per kg plus taxes.
  8. Domestic Flight schedule is subject to change. Rahaa Resort does not take any responsibility for any changes in the flight schedule nor any delays which may be caused by the airline due to unforeseen circumstances.
  9. Last-minute delays in the arrival of international flight must be communicated to the resort 72 hours before arrival so that the resort can liaise with the Carrier and transfer the late arrival guests on the next available connection.
  10. Any last-minute delays in the arrival of International Flight communicated later than 72 hours cannot be guaranteed same day connections. The Resort will liaise with the Carrier and endeavor to transfer the guests on the next available connection. However, the resort will not bear the cost of meals, accommodation or any other costs that may arise due to the late arrival of the International Flight.


CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOWS AND EARLY DEPARTURES 2021-2022 & 2022-2023


11 Jan 22 – 31 oct 2022 :-

  1. Cancellations made less than 12 days before arrival - 50% of the entire stay
  2. Cancellations made on the day of arrival - 100% of the entire stay
  3. No-shows and Early Departure - 100% of the entire stay
  4. Cancellations made on the arrival date will be considered as no-show.
  5. Shifting of booking date and change of names after release period will be considered as cancellation.
  6. It is an obligation for the agent/operator to obtain the cancellation acknowledgement from the Resort


1 Nov 2022 – 19 Dec 2022 & 11 Jan 2023 – 31 Oct 2023

  1. Cancellations made on 5 days before arrival - 100% of the entire stay


20 Dec 2022 – 10 Jan 2023

  1. Cancellations made less than 19 days before arrival - 100% of the entire stay


Room Occupancy :-

  1. SINGLE - 1 Adult or 1 Child
  2. DOUBLE - 2 Adults or 1 Adult + 1 Child or 2 Children
  3. TRIPLE - 3 Adults


Meal Supplement :-

  1. Half board includes buffet breakfast and buffet dinner in our main restaurant (Kaagé). Beverages are not included in pricing and chargeable upon consumption.
  2. Full board includes buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner in our main restaurant (Kaagé). Beverages are not included in pricing and chargeable upon consumption.
  3. All-inclusive includes buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and buffet dinner in our main restaurant (Kaagé). Selection of alcoholic & non-alcoholic cocktails, beer, wine, sparkling wine, liquors, juices, soft drinks, mineral water, coffee/tea at Dhirun’Bar from 10 am to midnight and in our main restaurant (Kaagé) during meals.


COMPLIMENTS :-

Honeymoon remark should be provided with the booking request. Marriage certificate must be presented at check-in and the marriage date shall fall within 6 months before arrival. Minimum of 3 nights stay at the resort is required.
